I have the Induma (Westbury) 1-S vertical knee mill and it is a rock solid awesome machine. I'm really glad I ended up with it as opposed to a BP. Jul 23, 2014 · I built a Dore-Westbury in about 1976 from the kit pre- machined parts. I still have it although it is now dismantled. The head has bean mounted on a Tom Senior M1 milling machine and the base has been used to make a small surface grinder. I have modified the head to use polyvee belts with an inverter controlled motor.
